Prof. Maros appointed Association chairperson – UMA for Lango sub Region

The Uganda Musicians Association-UMA has appointed Atine Ceaser alias Prof. Maros as the association chairperson for Lango Sub Region.

Atine was appointed by the chairperson Uganda Musicians Association National Cinderella Sanyu alias Cindy at the association offices located at National Theatre.

Prof Maros pledged to support both upcoming and established musicians in Lango in building their career.

Maros called for unity among Lango musicians to promote music to compete with artists from other parts of the country.

UMA spokesperson for Lango sub region Munu Benard Paul alias Beepee said they will work to promote Lango music.

Fahad Obong a.ka. Figure boy said the appointment of Maros will promote unity, transparency in the music industry in Lango.

Brenda Odomoch alias Lady Bifall expressed hope that by joining UMA, musicians from Lango will begin to enjoy some benefits from their talent.

Uganda Musicians Association-UMA consists of over 4,000 musicians.
