Erute South endorses Sam Engola for re-election in 2026

NRM party leaders of Erute South constituency, Lira district have endorsed former Erute South MP, Sam Engola as the party sole candidate in 2026 election.

This was revealed at a meeting held at Sam Engola’s home in Adekokwok, Lira City East Division.

David Okech the NRM party chairman of Amac and Wiodyek Sub Counties said they have endorsed Sam Engola as the party sole candidate in Erute South MP election in 2026 due to his previous leadership abilities.

Janet Oteng the NRM party chairperson for Barr Sub County said they moved to endorse Engola Sam due to his continued support to the area.

Alfred Ebong the NRM party chairman for Agali Sub County said Sam Engola has been instrumental in supporting churches, youth, schools and roads rehabilitation, a reason they endorsed his candidature.

Itek Sub County NRM chairperson Jaspher Odongo said they want Sam Engola to bounce back to parliament to continue supporting development in Erute South.

Sam Engola pledged support towards rehabilitation of Barr Secondary school.

Engola said he has also procured a tractor to support commercial farming in Erute South.
