Lango paramount chief elect warns clan heads against estrangement

New Lango paramount chief elect Eng. Dr. Michael Moses Odongo Okune has warned clan heads against splitting of clans.
Odongo Okune made the warning at All Saints Ibuje church of Uganda in Apac district at a thanksgiving prayer organized to celebrate his recent election.
Odongo said they will not entertain splitting of clans that could derail them from achieving prevailing peace that has for long been sought for in Lango
Bishop Julius Ceaser Nina of Diocese of West Lango welcomed Odongo Okune’s cultural leadership that he said has come at the right time when they are fighting against teenage marriages, drunkenness, and murders among others which have escalated in Lango.
Speaker of council of Owitong Willy Omodo Omodo called upon the church institution to pray for peace to prevail in Lango
West Lango Diocesan secretary Robert Edinga Ogwang thanked Odongo for visiting the church and communing with Christians
Apac district chairman Odongo Asante hailed Odongo Okune as an accomplished leader ready to steer Lango forward.
Canon Richard Ogwang Odyero the clan head of Ogora rallied clan heads to be close to God and seek leadership guidance.
