A total of 2,503 Primary Seven candidates in Amolatar District will sit for the pre-Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) mock exams on Tuesday and Wednesday at 56 examination centers.

The district information officer of Amolatar Andrew Kizito Ogwang said the mock exams will start with Mathematics on Tuesday morning and Social Studies in the afternoon.

On Wednesday, Integrated Science and Health Education will be done in the morning and English Language in the Afternoon.

The exams, which had been scheduled for last week, were postponed to this week to allow the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) to conduct education census.

According to the district education office, teachers will meet at Alemere Primary School after the exams on Thursday to prepare for marking, which begins on Friday. The results are expected to be released on 21 August 2025 at the District Education Hall.

Ogwang says they believe that the timely sitting and release of the mock results will allow teachers to analyze learners’ performance and address weaknesses ahead of the final PLE later this year.

He therefore urged parents to support their children during the mock period to enhance preparation and performance in PLE.
