Lira<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lira District Labour Officer Tom Oguta today stopped a Company called Arova Reality Training Recruitment Limited from recruiting people from Lango and Teso to work in foreign countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tom Oguta said the company was found recruiting people in Senior Quarters, Lira City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Oguta said Arova Reality Training Recruitment Limited was conducting recruitment without knowledge of Lira City and district authority besides lacking registration documents allowing them to operate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Oguta said most Ugandans who are recruited to work abroad by unregistered companies undergo mistreatment in those countries since they cannot be easily followed up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sarah Awor Angweri, the Lira City council female workers councilor tasked the company to reveal the countries where they intend to take the recruits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Effort to speak to the company officials was futile as they did not allow to be interviewed by the press.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" By Isaac Okello (isaac.okello@vol.co.ug) Lira Lira District Labour Officer Tom Oguta today stopped a Company called Arova Reality Training Recruitment Limited from recruiting people from Lango and Teso to work in foreign countries.
