{"id":5857,"date":"2024-03-25T13:53:53","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T10:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vol.co.ug\/?p=5857"},"modified":"2024-03-25T13:56:05","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T10:56:05","slug":"police-warned-against-concealing-criminal-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vol.co.ug\/index.php\/2024\/03\/25\/police-warned-against-concealing-criminal-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"Police warned against concealing criminal cases \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"738\" height=\"415\" src=\"https:\/\/vol.co.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/images-17.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5860\" srcset=\"https:\/\/vol.co.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/images-17.jpeg 738w, https:\/\/vol.co.ug\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/images-17-300x169.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 738px) 100vw, 738px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>By Voice of Lango Editorial (editor@vol.co.ug)&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kwania<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kwania district LCV chairman Geoffrey Alex Ogwal Adyebo has warned police against concealing criminal cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This comes after an accusation of defilement was levied against Thomas Aloka, the director of Pride Nursery and Primary school-Alido also the deputy head teacher of Tegot Primary School in Chawente Sub County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Thomas Aloka denied the allegation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ogwal said he got reports that Aloka had allegedly defiled the daughter of the LC1 chairman of Teopok village, Alido-Chawente but later had mediation with the minor\u2019s family, with knowledge of the Sub County leaders and police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ogwal said they will take serious action against those who conceal criminal cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charles Okwang the LC2 chairman of Alido Parish said he had not received information concerning this defilement case but added that he is only aware of a misunderstanding that ensued between Aloka and his wife last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kwania DPC, Mugisa Charles said the matter had not yet reached his office but promised to follow it up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Voice of Lango Editorial (editor@vol.co.ug)&nbsp;&nbsp;
