Lira City mayor Sam Atul has asked the office of the president to ensure fulfillment of all the pledges that the president made to Lango Sub Region.

Sam Atul made the call while speaking at a stakeholders meeting organized by the state house Comptroller, Jane Barekye at Lira University on Saturday ahead of the planned commissioning of the 5 billion shillings Presidential Youths Skilling Hub established at the university.

Atul observed that the president made several pledges in Lango, and for the case of Lira University, he said the head of state had pledged to ensure all roads surrounding the university are tarmacked but this has not been fulfilled to date.
