Court recalls warrant of seizure of property of PAG Lira Limited

The Assistant registrar of the high court in Lira has recalled a warrant of execution of a court order issued to Libra court Bailiffs and Auctioneers to seize property belonging to Pentecostal Assemblies of God Uganda Limited that were being used by PAG Lira Limited.

On 12/4/2023, court issued a warrant of seizure to Libra court Bailiffs and Auctioneers to retain property of Pentecostal Assemblies of God Uganda Limited following a high court civil division ruling by Justice Ssekaana Musa on 31/3/2023.

Deputy registrar of Lira high court Ssalaamu Godfrey Ngobi had issued a warrant of seizure to Libra court Bailiffs and Auctioneers to recover property of PAG Uganda.

Ngoobi in his letter to Libra court Bailiffs and Auctioneers said the warrant had an error that needed rectification since it appears like it was issued by Kampala high court civil division, whereas it was actually issued by High court in Lira.

Among the property includes;  plots 36-40 and 25 Agwata Road, Lira city, plot 26, Kyoga road, Plot 4-12, Okori Olero Road in Ireda Shamba.

Others are; Plot 89-97 Ogwal Aconga Road, Lira city East division all PAG churches under Lira pastorate.
