Lango regional tournament kicks off in Apac Municipality

The Lango regional tournament for Uganda Secondary School Sports Association commenced yesterday in Apac Municipality with reporting of participants.

Girls’ teams will play the games at Apac P/S and Apac Boma Ground and camp at St. Francisca Girls SS while the boys will play at Apac SS and Owang PS and camp at Apac SS. 

chairperson of Lango Regional Secondary School Sports Association Geoffrey Alot said screening of players was done successfully ahead of the games that will start officially today.

Bob Okello the general secretary of Lango Regional Secondary School Sports Association said most players had reported by press time, with each district expected to avail four teams.

Deo Oguti Opio who is in charge publicity of the games said the tournament presents several business opportunities for people of Apac.
