Kole South MP Peter Ocen Akalo has decried delays by the government to send funds for operationalization of new Sub Counties and Town councils.
Recently, the government sent startup funds for the new lower local administrative units but up to now, some of them have not yet received the funds.
Last week MP Ocen informed parliament about the poor status of roads in the new Sub Counties and Town councils due to delays by the government to facilitate roads rehabilitation in the administrative units.
Ocen expressed hope that the government will finance the New Sub-counties and town councils especially now that the deputy speaker of parliament directed that these administrative units get codes and funding to support their activities.
