Inomo clan leadership has sacked the clan chief in charge of Amolatar, Moses Oruk over allegation of involvement in murder committed on 16/7/2023.
Yesterday, the supreme clan chief of Inomo Dan Opito Odwe read a letter at a clan meeting in Amolatar sacking Moses Oruk over the murder of Luka Obia who is a member of Inomo clan.
Dan Opito Odwe said an election will be held to elect a new clan chief to replace Oruk.
Albert Ocen a member of Inomo clan has welcomed the sacking of Oruk, saying it was unfortunate that a leader of Inomo could be involved in the murder of his own clan member.
Albino Obong also a member of Inomo clan accused Oruk of selling his 200 acres of land without his or the clan leader’s notice
But Oruk denied the allegations levied against him and accused Opito of convening a meeting for the clan members to complain against him without giving him an opportunity to defend himself.
Oruk added that he will continue working as the clan chief of Inomo in Amolatar.
