Kwania NRM cadres blame 2021 election loss on disunity

Having registered a huge lose in 2021 general elections in Kwania district, the National Resistance Movement party has made a comeback to re-strategize for 2026.

At a delegates Conference held at Ikwera girls SS on 31/8/2024 involving party leaders of parishes, Sub Counties and district as well as aspirants for the party flag for 2026 elections, Bosco Olulung alias Acanadiro who represented the NRM party chairperson for Kwania district said they will unite to take over the LCV chairperson seat that they had lost due to division in the party.

 Nelso Sadam Abili the former NRM candidate for Kwania LCV chairperson seat also called for unity in the party to win this seat

Ceaser Obada the assistant Resident District commissioner of Kwania attributed their loss to failure to support a single party candidate.

James Ongu Tar the former NRM candidate for Kwania north called for consolidated support for a single party candidate to win the upcoming election.

Lawrence Okello the NRM Mobilizer for Apac district and municipality warned the party members over division due to their love for money.

Some of the notable people who showed interest for the party flag in different positions include; George Kakoma Akaca, Basil Okello Onac and Basil Odongo for LCV seat,  James Ongu Tar and Yafesi Obang for Kwania north, incumbent Tonny Ayoo and Tonny Eron for Kwania county, as well as Susan Acola and Judith Amongi Olope for Kwania district woman MP.

Those for position of NRM party chairperson seat are; Nelson Sadam Abili, Olulung Bosco alias Acanadiro, Maj. Fred Gawera and Moses Ebong aka BEB.
