Amolatar District council has approved the upgrade of two health facilities from health center III to Health Center IV status as well
as construction of two seed schools.
Amolatar District chairman Geoffrey Ocen said council approved the
construction of Etam Seeds Secondary school that will cost 1.3 billion
shillings and Akwon Seeds Secondary school which will cost 1.3 billion
shillings.
Meanwhile, council approved the upgrade of Acii Health Centre 3 to health centre 4 status at 1.6 billion shillings and Etam Health Centre 3 which will also be upgraded to HC 4 at 1.6 billion shillings.
Ocen said the projects will commence next financial year 2022/2023.
