‘Complement your income sources with music, do not solely rely on it’ – Lira City Mayor to musicians

Lira City Mayor Sam Atul has urged musicians to engage in other productive ventures to increase their incomes rather than relying on music to make money.

Speaking during the requiem service for fallen RnB singer Benard Paul Munu aka Beepee at Uganda Matyrs Cathedral, Sam Atul says artists should sing for passion and only complement their income sources with music but not solely rely on it.

According to him, many people in Lango still don’t have enough money to support the music industry.

He says the peoples’ agenda should be engaging in productive activities that enhance their income to support musicians.

The City mayor says he wants Lango to grow and shine and be the wall of fame as one of the most developed place in the country.
