Lango Paramount Chief Yosam Odur Ebii has been admitted at Mulago National Specialized hospital to receive treatment after falling sick.

Odur Ebii, 94, was first rushed to Lira University teaching hospital mid last week and later referred to Mulago National Referral Hospital Monday afternoon for specialized treatment.

Impeccable sources that are close to the paramount Chief say, the cultural chief fell sick due to fatigue ostensibly caused by long trips in Lira City to attend the requiem service for the late Cecilia Ogwal and later in Otuke for the installation of Richard Enen Okello as clan chief of Ngura Puc.

The Minister for Information at Lango Cultural Foundation Jacob Ocen confirmed to Voice of Lango FM that the Paramount Chief arrived at Mulago Hospital Tuesday morning and that the doctors immediately started treating him.

According to Ocen, Odur Ebii has stabilized and currently out of danger.

The paramount chief’s most recent public appearance was in Ogwete sub-county, Otuke District where he presided over the enthronement of the clan head of Ngura puc, Richard Enen Okello.
