School proprietors cautioned against purchasing fake examination papers

School proprietors have been warned against being duped in buying fake examination papers.
Lira City Principal education officer, Dr Jaspher Abura made the warning yesterday during dedication prayers for 96 candidates of St Thomas Primary school located in Akia word Lira City East Division.
Dr Abura said he has got a report that unscrupulous people are planning to dupe proprietors of schools by selling to them fake Primary Leaving Examination papers in guise of leaked genuine exams.
Abura instead said such people should be reported to police and arrested for aiding exams malpractice.
The Director of St. Thomas Primary School, Thomas Otema urged parents to encourage pupils who will start their exams today so that they have peace of mind and confidence in doing their exams.
Lira City Council secretary for finance James Omara Elem commended Otema for his contribution in promoting education in Lango sub region.
Rev. Ftr. Dr. Francis Omara who led the dedication prayers encouraged the pupils to face the exams without fear.
The pupils who spoke to our reporter expressed their readiness for exams after adequate preparation by their teachers..
