Homosexuality: Tekwaro Lango perspective

Tekwaro Lango leader, Eng. Dr. Michael Moses Odongo Okune has asked the people of Lango to report some NGO’s that are promoting homosexuality.
Odongo Okune made the call yesterday at a meeting of clan heads held in senior quarters, Lira City East division to approve his recently appointed ministers
This was done under the constitution of Tekwaro Lango that was approved by clan heads in 2016 backed by the constitution of the Republic of Uganda.
He said some NGO’s operating in Uganda are secretly promoting homosexuality.
Odongo Okune re-emphasized that this vice that is being spearheaded by foreign countries shall not be condoned under Tekwaro Lango because it affects human health and therefore, he appealed to the youth not to be carried away because of exchanging hands for money.
He tasked the UPDF and Anti Stock Theft Unit police to fight cattle theft by suspected Karamojong cattle rustlers in Otuke and Alebtong districts.
Counsel Dr. Adams Makmot Kibwanga swore in Prime Minister George Ojwang Opota, ministers Jerome Angena as minister of lands, Simon Peter Odoo as minister of justice and constitutional affairs, Patrick Okullo Okeng as minister of information.
Willy Omodo Omodo the clan leader of Pedi Wibye was elected unopposed to become speaker of Tekwaro Lango after Isaac Opio Opeo resigned.
Odongo Okune appointed Isaac Opio Opeo as chairperson project implementation committee.
Prime minister of tekwaro Lango George Ojwang Opota pledged to work for the development of Lango.
