Apac secondary school teachers lay down tools

A section of secondary school teachers in Apac district have laid down their tools in protest over delays in payment of their salaries.
The teachers are demanding their salaries for November and December 2022.
Last week the teachers gave Apac district leaders till 13th- March-2023 to act on their demand.

When we sought his comments yesterday afternoon, Geoffrey Okaka the Chief Administrative Officer of Apac asked our reporter to call him back in the evening, but again he did not answer our calls later on.
Patrick Ocen the Senior Education Officer of Apac said they are doing all it takes to clear the teachers’ pending salaries.
