Self claimed prophet arrested over theft

Kwania

Police of Kwania Central Police Station is holding a self-proclaimed prophet over alleged theft of a motorcycle.

Prophet Jackson Agum-kom of Fire Gospel Church in Aduku Town Council, Kwania District, is accused of stealing a Bajaj motorcycle registration number UFF 541C belonging to Lawrence Otim Awaga on 28/4/2023 from one Vincent Ogwang.

Lawrence Otim Awaga said in coordination with the boda-boda association of Aduku they arrested Agum Kom on Monday for investigation.

Charles Mugisa the District Police Commander (DPC) of Kwania confirmed the arrest of Agum Kom.

He said they are also investigating Patrick Ogwang from Teogali in Inomo Sub County accused of stealing a motorcycle belonging to Geoffery Ogwal Amata-Mata a business man based in Aduku.

Walter Opyene the chairperson of the Boda-boda association of Kwania cautioned boda-boda riders warned people against entrusting their motorcycles with people they are not sure about.
