Reshuffle: JSC transfers 4 magistrates in Lango

The Judicial Service Commission has transferred 4 magistrates in Lango in a new reshuffle.
They include; Dr. Irene Namae moved from Law Development center to Lira as grade one magistrate, Kole grade one magistrate Nyakairu Edgar who has been transferred to Kasangati.
Others are; Aballa Godfrey from Apac district to Amuru district, Mulangira Tanazio Hillary from Lira to Nakapiripirit.
Chief registrar of the judiciary Sarah Langa Siu said the move is meant to curb case backlog.
The transferred judicial officers will start work on 1/9/2023.
Chief justice Alfonse Chigamoy Owiny-Dollo challenged the judicial officers on professionalism in the course of their duty.
