The clan leader of Otengoro Olang Daniel Omara Atubo and his counterpart of Bako pelkori-apwor Peter Okello Oyo are demanding that Lango cultural foundation speaker Benson Dila Oyugu convenes an emergency council meeting to discuss actions to be taken against the nine people who spearheaded the re-registration of Lango Cultural Foundation as a company.

It comes after the registration of Lango Cultural Foundation Limited with Uganda Registration Services Bureau by nine people.

They include; Wonyaci of Lango Yosam Odur Ebii, prime minster Ajal James Robert, Okodi Levi Macpio andOlang Joe Erik who are deputy prime ministers at Lango Cultural Foundation.

Others are: Omara Dick Lawrence, Opii Tom Allan Ocen,Oyugi Quirinus Onono, Taiwo Benson Moses and Okello Florence Akoli.

The minister of foreign affairs of cultural foundation Peter Okello Oyo said the nine people went on to register Lango cultural foundation as a company and not cultural institution without approval from the cabinet or council and council was supposed to appoint the company directors.

Okello Oyo asked Dila Benson Oyuku to convene an emergency council meeting to allow those who registered Lango cultural foundation limited to explain why they did so without consultation.

Otengoro clan leader Olang Daniel Omara Atubo equally wants a council meeting convened to discuss the matter.

Speaker of Lango cultural foundation Benson Dila was not available for comments since his phone was switched off.

However, the spokesperson of Lango cultural foundation Jacob Ocen acknowledged the need to consult council and cabinet before registration a decision as this is made, asking the speaker to convene a meeting to discuss the matter.
