Apac municipality emerges third in national scouting competition

Apac Municipality has emerged third in the national Scouting competition held in Kazi Camping Ground, Entebbe, Wakiso district.

Apac municipality won a trophy in the category of tug of war and a pupil of Apac Primary school called Amongi Annet Hope won a medal for her outstanding performance.

Molly Grace Opule the commissioner of Scout and Girls Guide for Apac municipality thanked Apac municipal council for supporting them during the competition.

Molly Grace Opule asked school leaders to support talent development among children.

Dickens Okabo Dengai the head teacher of Apac primary school expressed excitement with the performance of the scouts’ team.

Stanislaus Mangasa, the town clerk of Apac Municipality who was chief guest at a function held to welcome the scouts’ team at Apac district Scout Hall pledged support to Apac municipality in games and sports.
