Lango Parliamentary group chairperson also Kole district woman MP Judith Alyek has denied rumors that some MPs from Lango refused to contribute funds to support the just concluded Lango surgical camp.
The surgical camp was conducted in 12 health facilities in Lango, in which 1,407 people were operated from different illnesses with support from ministry of health and MPs from Lango.
However, there has been reports on social media indicating that some MPs refused to contribute money to support this cause due to failure by Lango Parliamentary group chairperson to account for the 184 million shillings subscription fee and other monies on the accounts of the group.
In a press conference, MP Alyek Judith said the 184 million shillings is intact and they are waiting to discuss with MPs on what to utilize the money for.
