Apac District has received shillings 200 million from government for the renovation of five primary schools.
The secretary for education and health, Sam Opira said they are already sourcing for contractors to implement the projects.
The schools that will be rehabilitated include; Kidilani, Akuli, Ololango, Alekolil and Akokoro primary schools.
Opira said the district plans to renovate five schools annually due to financial constraints.
Last week, the Ministry of Education and Sports announced that they will provide funds to districts for rehabilitation of government aided primary schools.
According to the Education Ministry this should be done in a phased manner.
