Former MP aspirant arrested over allegation of planting charms at home of Chief Justice Owiny Dollo

Former woman Member of Parliament aspirant for Agago Woman MP Lillian Abalo Ongom is in police custody at Patongo central police station in Agago district for trespassing at the residence of chief justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo Chigamoi.

Agago Resident District Commissioner Leonard ojok Opio said Lillian Abalo was arrested late at night for reportedly digging and burying bottles at the chief justice’s compound.

Opio said the police are keeping Hon Abalo in custody to investigate her motive.

Aswa River Region police spokesperson David Ongom Mudong said Abalo is still in detention at Patongo Police station pending investigation.

Mudong said Abalo is charged with criminal trespass under file SD REF 02/19/2022.

Lillian Abalo Ongom emerged third in the 2021 race for Agago Woman Member of Parliament seat that was won by ruling National Resistance Movement flag bearer Hon. Beatrice Akello Akori.
