2 Youths in Kole walk away with Shs 2M from Sasakawa Africa Association

Two youths of Kole district have won one million shillings each from Sasakawa Africa Association to support their business

The youths were awarded the money at a function held by Sasakawa Africa Association for youths of Kole North held at Tasha Hotel-Lira city on Friday

Emmanuel Apoc from Alito Sub County who is one of the youth who won the money and is dealing in produce said due to the trainings he has been getting from Sasakawa Africa, he has been able to sustain his business.

Ajwang Paska Joyce from Okwerodot who also won one million shillings and deals in bakery said the money will help her further finance her business.

The deputy county director of Sasakawa Africa, Bbemba Joseph said their project aims to empower the youths to support poverty alleviation.

The female youth councilor of Kole district Peace Bridget Apio encouraged the youth to embrace agriculture to improve their livelihood.
