Man hands self to police after murder of wife, brother

A 30 year old man has handed himself to police at Aboke Police out Post after allegedly murdering his wife and brother.

The LC3 chairman of Aboke Sub County, Bonny Canna said the suspect, Moses Ongom  handed himself to police after stabbing to death, his wife, Connie Adong and his brother Ambrose Okwir.

Canna said Moses Ongom had impregnated his sister and had since gone into hiding but he sneaked back home late night and stabbed his wife and brother to death.

It is alleged that Adong and Okwir were involved in a love affair in the absence of Ongom.

The officer in charge Aboke Police out Post Zakaria Ojwang confirmed the incident to Voice of Lango.

Ojwang said Moses Ongom is under police custody and has been charged with murder.

He said the body of the deceased persons have been taken to Lira regional referral hospital mortuary.

North Kyoga regional police PRO, Jimmy Patrick Okema said investigation is on going against Moses Ongom.
