Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development Betty Amongi has rallied the youths to embrace education for a brighter future.
Minister Amongi who was speaking yesterday as chief guest at the youth day for Gulu Archdiocese in Puranga Parish, Pader District said the youths should study hard to prepare their future since education has become a great pillar of development.
She warned the youths on over engagement in politics which may mislead them.
Amongi also donated 200 bags of cement to Puranga Catholic parish.
Archbishop of Gulu Diocese John Baptist Odama called for promotion of sports in Northern Uganda.
Party President Uganda People’s Congress-UPC Jimmy Akena Obote who doubles as Lira City East Division MP called for discipline among the youths.
