Kwania RDC on spot over alleged corruption

Kwania Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Richard Arikwanga Noon is on the spot over alleged involvement in corruption tendencies
The corruption allegation was raised against Arikwanga Noon at a recent consultative meeting organized by NRM party leaders at Ikwera Girls SS, Aduku Town Council.
Ceaser Onyanga the NRM National Youth Delegate for Kwania also a local of Bung in Ayabi Sub County, accused Arikwanga Noon of connivance with Kwania district leaders to engage in corruption, calling for his transfer.
Basil Okello Onac the LCV chairman of Kwania district decried the move by the president to retain Kwania RDC in the recent reshuffle.
Okello Ohuru, the NRM chairperson for Inomo Sub County accused the office of the RDC of sidelining them in promotions in favor of opposition party leaders.
Walter Ocen the LC3 chairman of Inomo Sub County accused the office of the RDC of extorting money from locals to allow them to cultivate wetlands.
However, Richard Arikwanga Noon, Kwania RDC denied sidelining NRM leaders but said he is working with UPC party leaders because they are the majority in the district.
Arikwanga Noon also denied as baseless, the allegation of corruption leveled against him, asking those fanning these claims to seek legal redress.
